GROUNDS FOR GIVING is funded through the profits of Jubala Village Coffee in Raleigh, NC. Jubala Village Coffee, along with Durham based Counter Culture Coffee, have built relationships with coffee farmers all around the world that produce some of the best cups in the specialty coffee industry. While the farmers take great care in harvesting top quality coffee, they still struggle to profit enough money to support some of the basic needs of their farming community. Each coffee community that Jubala Village Coffee buys from produce unique cups of coffee but they also pose their own unique social struggles. Whether it is providing children with shoes in Burundi, school desks and textbooks in Kenya, water in Ethiopia, or bikes for transporting their harvest in Rwanda, Jubala Village Coffee makes it a top priority to use part of its profits to help with each of these unique challenges. Jubala Village Coffee has made it a goal to give 10% of its profits to support the groundsforgiving mission and the coffee communities that it will work with.
